1. my courses. i am wretched with anxiety about my final semester of school, but i’m compensating by taking awesome electives: social inequality/social justice/public policy, the dark side of sexuality, gender issues, and perception in psychology. i wish i could just learn and not be stressed out….
I still look around here sometimes, though I don’t post. I’m just so busy/distracted/my mind is missing lately. There are awesome things in my life too.
Awesome things
1. I met a man (exactly to the day) two months ago and we’re in love.
2. I am jobless! It’s not awesome. I miss my job a lot, but as it goes. I’ve been applying and have interviews the past couple days at my favourite vegan food stop, that is literally a 2 minute walk from my house, and a little store that is 1 and a half minute walk from my house. Hopefully something comes up, but I have kind of liked the time to relax and imagining possible prospects.
3. I was in New York City for a week over the new year, it was amazing. My highlight? Cereal milk soft serve ice cream, I kid you not.
4. School started up, I’ve had four classes so far. I completely love three of them (in my first class of the semester, we watched Breathless), one is not my cup of tea and will be a bit of a challenge but chug on right. The fifth, I’m kind of flopping between what course it will be, and by that it means I’m trying to get into one that is full but I have not given up yet.
5. I bought a juicer and joined a nearby yoga studio, more permanent than drop in classes. On that health note, I think I’m going to have leftover sweet potato fries and miso gravy from Fresh. I do what I can, but I mean, my boyfriend lives next to Hogtown vegan. Too much Mac and Cheeze.
